1. Business and Scope
Learn & Earn Driving School provides driving instruction in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. The business does not publish a street address or operate a public storefront through this website. This policy covers the website booking and contact forms, phone and WhatsApp links, and optional website measurement described below.
2. Booking and Contact Information
The forms require a full name, phone number, preferred service, preferred contact method, and a checkbox authorizing a response to the inquiry. Email is optional unless email is selected as the preferred contact method. License class, preferred date, preferred time, road-test date, and a message or questions are optional. The contact checkbox is for responding to the inquiry; it is separate from optional analytics and advertising consent.
Please do not submit a driver’s license number, date of birth, payment-card information, identity documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information. A form submission is an inquiry and does not confirm an appointment.
3. How a Form Submission Is Processed
Your browser sends the form fields in a POST request to the website’s booking endpoint running on Vercel. The application validates the request and, if valid, uses Resend through an authenticated SMTP connection to submit an email to the configured Google Workspace booking inbox. The website has no customer database, account system, authentication, or payment processing. Email acceptance by the SMTP provider does not confirm delivery to the inbox.
4. Purposes
Booking and contact information is used to respond to inquiries, discuss the requested service, confirm availability, and arrange scheduling or related communication. The application does not intentionally send booking-form values to Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.
5. Phone and WhatsApp
Phone and WhatsApp remain available regardless of optional tracking choices. If you choose the WhatsApp link, the site opens WhatsApp with fixed preset text; you decide whether to send it and whether to add information. WhatsApp then processes the interaction under its own terms and privacy practices.
6. Optional Analytics, Advertising, and Storage
Google Analytics loads only when a valid Google measurement ID is configured and you enable the Analytics category. Meta Pixel loads only when a valid Meta Pixel ID is configured and you enable the Advertising category. Either category can be enabled or disabled independently. If enabled, the applicable provider may use cookies or similar technologies after consent.
Your choice is stored in your browser under learn-and-earn-consent-v1 as a versioned record containing only the consent version and two boolean category choices. It does not contain names, contact details, form values, customer identifiers, or IP addresses. If the record is missing, corrupt, unsupported, or unavailable, the website treats the choice as undecided and keeps optional tracking off. Rejecting optional tracking does not disable navigation, phone, WhatsApp, or booking submission.
7. Events and Withdrawal
When the applicable category is enabled, the site may measure page paths without query strings, fixed phone, WhatsApp, and scheduling link types, fixed service identifiers, and an accepted booking-inquiry event. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, preferred dates or times, messages, full form content, arbitrary page text, and personal information from URLs are not intended event parameters.
You can reopen Privacy choices in the footer. When an enabled category is disabled, the site stops its own subsequent events, invokes the available provider revocation command, saves the choice, and reloads so the disabled provider does not load in the next document. Events already transmitted cannot be withdrawn, a loaded third-party script cannot always be fully unloaded, and complete deletion of provider cookies cannot be guaranteed.
8. Service Providers and Processing Locations
Vercel provides hosting and server-side execution. Resend provides SMTP processing, and the configured recipient is intended to be a Google Workspace booking mailbox. Google processes optional Analytics activity only after Analytics consent and configuration; Meta processes optional Pixel activity only after Advertising consent and configuration. These providers may process information outside British Columbia or Canada, where it may be subject to other laws and lawful access requirements.
9. Retention
Booking inquiries and related communications are normally retained for 12 months after the inquiry or the last related communication, whichever is later. Active matters, disputes, and records required for legitimate business or legal purposes may be retained longer. The website application does not maintain a separate customer database.
10. Safeguards
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used based on the nature of the service and information. No website, network transmission, email provider, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Access, Correction, and Withdrawal Requests
You may request access to or correction of personal information held about you, or withdraw a consent choice, subject to applicable limitations. Contact privacy@learnandearndriving.ca. Withdrawing optional tracking does not affect information already processed and does not disable essential website functions.
12. Needs Verification
Needs Verification: Before launch, the owner and any legal reviewer should confirm that the privacy inbox is active and monitored, and that non-website phone, text, WhatsApp, and scheduling practices are accurately described by the final policy.
13. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated when website tools, providers, or confirmed business practices change. The latest update date will appear above.
